Adèle Mildred is a Franco-American artist living and working in England.
Adèle moved to London in 2008 to train as a milliner under the direction of Stephen Jones. Within a year she was at the head of his couture atelier, working with designers including Marc Jacobs, Raf Simmons, Giles, John Galliano and Bill Gaytten.
In 2013 Adèle shifted her focus back on her own work. She illustrated Your Beauty Mark and various other projects for Dita Von Teese and has collaborated with notable brands including Charlotte Olympia, Burberry and Kat Von D Beauty. In 2015, with fellow milliner Gabrielle Djanogly, Adèle founded luxury hat label HOOD and began designing sunglasses inspired by a trip Venice to visit the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. Never one to settle more is always on the horizon.
